1. What is the Network page and where can users find it?

The Network page can be accessed from the main navigation bar at the bottom of the Wishday app.

This page serves as a dashboard for managing the user's connections and provides quick access to several important sections:

  • Colleagues – displays coworkers who have installed the Wishday app.

  • Requests – shows connection requests received from colleagues or friends.

  • Connections – displays the people the user is already connected with in the app, whether they are colleagues or friends.

  • Suggestions – shows contacts from the user's phonebook who already have a Wishday account and can be connected with to contribute to each other's gifts.

  • Contacts – displays the user's phone contacts and allows them to invite people who are not yet using the Wishday app to create an account.

The Network page makes it easy to discover and manage connections, helping users participate in gifts and interact with their friends and colleagues within the app.

Network Page Structure

After opening the Network page, users will find a Search bar at the top of the screen, allowing them to quickly find a specific person.

Important: The search only works within the currently selected category. Search results depend on the section you are viewing.

For example, if you are in the Connections category, the search bar will only return people you are already connected with. If the person you are looking for is in the Suggestions category, they will not appear in the results until you switch to Suggestions and search again.

Below the search bar is a carousel containing all available categories on the Network page.

All

This section displays all relevant people, including:

  • Existing connections (colleagues and friends)

  • Coworkers

  • Contacts from the user's phonebook

Requests

This section displays all connection requests received from colleagues or friends. Users can accept or decline these requests.

Connections

This section displays everyone the user is already connected with in the app, whether they are colleagues or friends.

Colleagues

This category displays all coworkers who have installed the Wishday app.

Here, users can see:

  • Colleagues they are already connected with.

  • Colleagues they are not yet connected with and to whom they can send a connection request.

Suggestions

This section displays contacts from the user's phonebook who already have a Wishday account.

Users can send them a connection request to become connected within the app.

Contacts

This category displays the user's entire phone contact list.

From here, users can:

  • Send connection requests to contacts who already have a Wishday account.

  • Send invitation links to contacts who have not yet installed the app.

2. Where can users see coworkers who use Wishday?

Users can view coworkers who use the Wishday app by opening the Network page and selecting the Colleagues category located below the Search bar.

This section displays all coworkers who have installed the Wishday app, regardless of whether the user is already connected with them.

Each coworker is identified by a Colleague badge displayed on the user's card, to the right of their name. This badge makes it easy to distinguish coworkers from other people displayed in the app.

3. How can a user send a connection request to a colleague or a friend?

The easiest way to send a connection request to a colleague is to open the Network page and select the Colleagues category.

This section displays all coworkers who have installed the Wishday app.

If the person icon with a "+" symbol appears on the right side of a coworker's card, it means the user is not yet connected with that coworker. Tapping this icon sends a connection request.

If the icon is no longer displayed, it means that the user has either:

  • already sent a connection request that is still pending; or

  • is already connected with that coworker.

Adding a friend to Wishday

The first step is to check whether your friend already has a Wishday account.

If your friend already has a Wishday account

  1. Open the Network page.

  2. Select the Suggestions category.

  3. This section displays all contacts from your phonebook who already have a Wishday account.

  4. Find your friend and tap the person icon with a "+" symbol on the right side of their card to send a connection request.

If your friend does not yet have a Wishday account

If your friend does not appear in the Suggestions category, it means they have not created an account yet.

In this case:

  1. Open the Contacts category.

  2. Find the person you want to invite.

  3. Tap the arrow icon on the right side of their card.

When you tap this icon, Wishday automatically sends an invitation containing a download link for the app.

Once your friend installs the app and creates an account, they will appear in the Suggestions category and you will be able to send them a connection request.

Additionally, in the Contacts category, the arrow icon will be replaced with the person icon with a "+" symbol, indicating that the person now has a Wishday account and can receive connection requests directly through the app.

4. Where can users see if they have received a new connection request from a coworker?

Whenever a user receives a new connection request from a coworker, the Wishday app displays a notification.

The notification can be accessed from the Home page by tapping the bell icon at the top of the screen. From there, users can see that they have received a new connection request.

Users can also view all received connection requests by opening the Network page and selecting the Requests category.

This section displays the complete list of received connection requests, where users can choose to accept or decline each request.
