How to add an item to your wishlist

This will show how a user can add an item to their wishlist.

Step 1 – Create a Wishlist

To add an item to a wishlist, the user must first navigate to the Wishes page from the bottom navigation menu.

If the user does not already have a wishlist, they must create one before adding any items.

Step 2 – Open the Wishlist

After creating the wishlist, the user should open it.

At the top of the page, next to the Edit List button, there is an Add Item button.

Selecting Add Item allows the user to add a gift that friends or coworkers can contribute toward.

Reminder

By selecting Edit List, the user can:

  • Edit the wishlist name.

  • Edit the wishlist description.

  • Choose whether the wishlist is Public or Private.

    • Public – Visible to friends and coworkers.

    • Private – Visible only to the owner.

Step 3 – Add a New Item

After selecting Add Item, the user is redirected to the item creation page.

The following information can be provided:

  • Item title

  • Description

  • External link (optional) – A link to the desired product so contributors can see exactly what the user wants.

  • Target amount – The fundraising goal.

  • Priority – A value from 1 to 5 that determines the display order within the wishlist.

    • 1 = highest priority (displayed first)

    • 5 = lowest priority (displayed last)

  • Item image

  • Visibility

    • Public – Friends and coworkers can view and contribute.

    • Private – Only the owner can view the item.

After completing all required fields, the user should select Add to save the item.

The newly created item will immediately appear in the current wishlist.

Step 4 – View Wishlist Items

Once added, wishlist items are displayed one below another in the wishlist as preview cards, allowing the user to quickly browse all added items.
